/api/data/licensed_pharmacies
Every pharmacy premises the Pharmacy Council of Ghana listed as in good standing in 2024 (list published 2025-02-10): 3622 pharmacies, one row each (the list's 3745 numbered rows less 123 repeats of the same licence and premises), with the licence number, business name, type (retail, wholesale, wholesale/retail, importing or manufacturing wholesale, hospital pharmacy), region and district; premises addresses are not included. The Council gives only the ten pre-2019 regions and often pre-2018 district names such as AMA and KMA, so the current region and district are filled only where they follow from the name; 1507 rows have no district and 18 no current region, with the Council's wording kept alongside. Over-the-counter medicine sellers are a separate register and are not included. Sourced from the Pharmacy Council, Ghana, published by the Pharmacy Council (no licence stated). 3622 records.
/api/data/licensed_health_facilities
Every health facility on the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency's list of facilities with a valid licence, dated 2025-10-10: 1778 facilities, one row each, with the facility type, ownership (private, public, CHAG mission, quasi-government), region, district, town and the date its licence expires (between 2025-09-23 and 2028-11-30). The list covers private facilities and the public and mission facilities that have been licensed, not every health facility in Ghana, so a facility missing from it is not necessarily unlicensed; and a licence valid on the list date may since have expired. HeFRA's district wording is kept in source_district_name; 20 rows name an old or ambiguous district and have no district. Two facilities appear twice on HeFRA's list and are kept as published. Sourced from the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), published by HeFRA (no licence stated). 1778 records.
