/api/data/policy_rate_decisions
Every decision of the Bank of Ghana's Monetary Policy Committee, one row per meeting, from the 1st meeting (2002-11-20) to the 132nd (2026-09-24): the meeting dates, the effective date BoG gives, the policy rate in percent and the change from the previous decision in basis points. The rate was called the Prime Rate until about 2012 and the Monetary Policy Rate since; the emergency meeting of 17 August 2022 shares number 107 with the regular meeting before it. BoG's table gives no announcement date, so announcement_date is filled only where it was read from a press release; decisions after March 2026 come from the MPC press releases and have no effective date yet, and the March 2008 rate is 14.25 from its press release where BoG's table rounds it to 14.3. Sourced from the Bank of Ghana, published by the Bank of Ghana. 133 records.
