Ghana's Consumer Price Index and inflation from the Ghana Statistical Service, one row per month, place, product group and measure: the index (2021 = 100), year-on-year inflation and month-on-month inflation, in percent. The national series runs from January 1998 (year-on-year inflation from January 1999) for all items, food, non-food and the 13 COICOP 2018 divisions, with locally produced and imported items from January 2021; the 16 regions run from January 2021 (year-on-year inflation from January 2022; StatsBank also gives regional non-food inflation for the second half of 2021). Figures before 2021 are GSS's chain-linked back-cast onto the 2021 basket and base, marked back_cast = true: they are not the rates announced at the time, and for some years (around 2000-2001 especially) they differ from them by many points, so cite a back-cast figure as GSS's current series, not as the rate announced then. StatsBank is updated less often than GSS's monthly CPI release; the last month in this table is January 2026, so later months GSS has announced are not here.
