The water level behind Ghana's two largest hydro dams at the end of every month — Akosombo from 2000 and Bui from 2014, to 2025 — in feet above sea level, with each dam's minimum operating level (240 ft and 550 ft) and how far above it the lake stood. Akosombo's lowest levels here (235 ft in July 2007, 238 ft through mid-2015) fall in years of national load shedding, and its highest (277 ft) was reached in 2010 and again in October 2023, the year of the Akosombo spillage. The published Bui figures for 2018 repeat 2017 month for month and are marked in note.
