11 civil society groups petition President Mahama over offshore gold exploration in inshore waters

The groups say the exploration falls within the Inshore Exclusion Zone defined by the Fisheries and Aquaculture Act, 2025, which covers coastal waters up to 12 nautical miles offshore.
