La community takes legal action over demolition of La Pleasure Beach

The La community is challenging the demolition of structures at La Pleasure Beach in court, disputing ownership of the land and opposing its transfer to an investor; the demolition on October 2 affected more than 85 businesses and over 4,000 people.
