Three arrested in Atewa Forest as NAIMOS launches Operation Green Shield
Three people were arrested in the Atewa Forest Reserve as NAIMOS launched a military-backed operation to flush out illegal miners. Lands Minister Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah called the destruction of forest reserves through illegal mining a national emergency.
