/api/data/fertilizer_products
Fertilisers used in Ghana by product rather than by nutrient — urea, DAP, NPK compounds and the rest — with production, imports, exports and agricultural use. Sourced from FAO FAOSTAT, CC BY 4.0. 1609 records.
/api/data/emissions_intensities
How much greenhouse gas each kilogram of Ghanaian farm output carries: emissions intensity by commodity, with the production and the emissions it is derived from. Sourced from FAO FAOSTAT, CC BY 4.0. 1701 records.
/api/data/agricultural_energy_emissions
Greenhouse gas emissions from the energy Ghanaian agriculture consumes — diesel, petrol, electricity, gas — by gas and year. Sourced from FAO FAOSTAT, CC BY 4.0. 532 records.
/api/data/agricultural_trade_partners
Who Ghana actually trades food and agricultural goods with: import and export quantity and value for each commodity against each partner country, year by year since 1986. The bilateral detail behind the trade totals — which country buys the cocoa and which sells the rice. Sourced from FAO FAOSTAT, CC BY 4.0. 191815 records.
/api/data/adjusted_net_savings
Ghana's savings once depreciation, education spending, resource depletion and pollution damage are taken into account — whether the country is building wealth or running it down. 36 series covering 1970-2021. Sourced from World Bank Open Data, CC BY 4.0. 1514 records.
/api/data/africa_development_indicators
The Africa Development Indicators collection for Ghana, which carries series the headline World Development Indicators leave out. 1649 series covering 1960-2012. Sourced from World Bank Open Data, CC BY 4.0. 38031 records.
/api/data/agricultural_hotspots
Month by month, which Ghanaian areas the European Commission's early warning system flagged for agricultural stress, what kind — drought, flood, frost, delayed season — and how severe, with the crop or rangeland affected. Sourced from EC Joint Research Centre ASAP, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 111 records.
/api/data/biomass_production
Annual biomass production in kilograms for each Ghanaian district since 1999, measured from satellite, alongside the long-term average — the grazing and fodder a district produced in a given year, which is what pastoral early warning watches. Sourced from Action Against Hunger, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 7280 records.
/api/data/bureaucracy_indicators
The size and cost of Ghana's public sector: public employment as a share of total and of formal employment, the public sector wage bill, pay compared with the private sector, and the composition of the public workforce by sex and education. 201 series covering 2000-2022. Sourced from World Bank Open Data, CC BY 4.0. 527 records.
/api/data/burnt_area
How much of each Ghanaian district burned each year since 2000, measured from satellite — bush fires and agricultural burning, which in the north are a seasonal fact and a real risk to crops, plantations and air quality. Sourced from Action Against Hunger, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 25480 records.
/api/data/climate_fund_projects
Green Climate Fund projects in Ghana: the accredited entity, theme, financing instrument, amounts committed and disbursed, and where each project stands. Sourced from Green Climate Fund, via HDX (CC BY 4.0). 13 records.
/api/data/commuting_zones
Ghana's commuting zones — the areas within which people actually travel to work, derived from aggregated movement data rather than from administrative lines. Labour market catchments for siting, staffing and service planning. Sourced from Data for Good at Meta, via HDX (CC BY 4.0). 13 records.
/api/data/conflict_events
Organised violence recorded in Ghana by the Uppsala Conflict Data Program: the actors, date, location, type of violence and deaths for each event. Sourced from Uppsala Conflict Data Program, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 55 records.
/api/data/corruption_perceptions_index
Ghana's score and rank in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index, year by year, with the range of the underlying sources. Sourced from Transparency International, via HDX (CC BY 4.0). 14 records.
/api/data/covid19_subnational
New COVID-19 cases, recoveries and deaths reported each day by Ghanaian region through the pandemic. A closed record now, and the most complete subnational epidemic series the country has. Sourced from HERA, via HDX (CC BY 4.0). 7378 records.
/api/data/disaster_appeals
IFRC emergency appeals and disaster relief funds raised for Ghana: what the disaster was, when, how many people were targeted, and what was requested and funded. Sourced from International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 24 records.
/api/data/disaster_events
Every Ghanaian disaster that has been given a GLIDE number — floods, epidemics, insect plagues, transport and industrial accidents — with its date, hazard, place and the agency that reported it. GLIDE is the identifier humanitarian systems use to refer to the same event, so this is the table to join other disaster records on. It is a register, not a casualty count: GLIDE says its figures are not for statistical analysis, and the deaths, injuries and numbers affected are filled in for only some events. Where GLIDE left a figure at zero it is NULL here, and an event GLIDE placed at the middle of the country has no coordinates and a location_precision of country. Sourced from GLIDE Initiative, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 35 records.
/api/data/displacement_events
Displacement inside Ghana as it is recorded: what caused it — flood, storm, conflict — where, when, and how many people moved. Sourced from Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 14 records.
/api/data/district_boundaries
The outline of each of Ghana's 260 districts as WKT geometry in a single column, with its region, land area, centroid and the geoBoundaries identifier. These are the same outlines every mapped dataset here is assigned against, so a point that this catalogue says is in Ga East falls inside this polygon. Simplified to about 200 metres: right for mapping and spatial joins, not a surveyed boundary. Sourced from geoBoundaries ADM2, CC BY 4.0. 260 records.
/api/data/district_profiles
One row for each of Ghana's 260 districts, bringing together what the rest of the catalogue holds about it: land area, population by sex, population density, counts of schools, health facilities, pharmacies, banks, markets, hotels, fuel stations, telecom masts and more, service provision per 10,000 people, and mean annual rainfall and vegetation index. Counts are exact — every mapped record is assigned to a district by point-in-polygon against these same boundaries. Population and the satellite series are matched by name and are NULL where no match could be made: the official population file is still on Ghana's pre-2018 set of 216 districts, so 184 of the 260 districts here carry a population figure and the rest do not. Those figures also sum about 5% below the regional totals, for the same reason. Compiled from the sources named in the source column. 260 records.
/api/data/economic_monitor
The World Bank's monthly macroeconomic monitor for Ghana: exchange rates, consumer prices, industrial production, money supply, reserves, stock prices, exports and imports, at monthly and quarterly frequency rather than annual. 24 series covering 1987-2026. Sourced from World Bank Open Data, CC BY 4.0. 8973 records.
/api/data/education_indicators_unesco
UNESCO Institute for Statistics indicators for Ghana against SDG 4: enrolment, completion, learning outcomes, teachers, school resources and education finance, broken down by level and sex. Sourced from UNESCO Institute for Statistics, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 9360 records.
/api/data/education_statistics
The World Bank's full education database for Ghana: enrolment, repetition, completion and out-of-school rates by level, grade and sex, teachers and their training, expenditure per student, and learning outcomes. Far finer than the education indicators in the headline series. 3539 series covering 1960-2100. Sourced from World Bank Open Data, CC BY 4.0. 33359 records.
/api/data/emergency_fund_allocations
Allocations to Ghana from the UN Central Emergency Response Fund: the emergency, the sector, the agency receiving the money and the amount, by year. Sourced from UN Central Emergency Response Fund, via HDX (CC BY-IGO). 14 records.
