Population by district, sex and five-year age band, from the official Common Operational Dataset produced by UNFPA with the Ghana Statistical Service. Read the geography before using it: this file covers 216 districts on Ghana's pre-2018 boundaries, not the current 260, and labels them with the old regions — Brong-Ahafo rather than Ahafo, Bono and Bono East. Its districts sum to 29.3 million against the 30.8 million in the companion region dataset, a gap of about 5%, because the two were compiled on different geographies.
