Population of each of Ghana's current 16 regions by sex and five-year age band, from the official Common Operational Dataset produced by UNFPA with the Ghana Statistical Service. The regions sum to 30.8 million, which matches the 2021 census. The companion district dataset is on the older 216-district geography and sums lower; these regional totals are the ones to use.
