Enter the rate you were quoted and whether you are buying or selling. See how it compares with the typical rate at Ghana's banks and forex bureaus, what the difference costs you, and who has the best rate today.
Banks and forex bureaus quote two rates. The selling rate is what they charge you for a currency; the buying rate is what they pay you for it. When you buy dollars, compare the selling rate; when you sell dollars, compare the buying rate.
The typical rate is the median across the banks, bureaus and fintechs that updated their rates in the last three days, collected by CediRates. The best-rates list leaves out providers that have not updated recently and any rate far from the rest, so one mistyped board cannot top it.
