/api/data/licensed_health_facilities
Every health facility on the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency's list of facilities with a valid licence, dated 2025-10-10: 1778 facilities, one row each, with the facility type, ownership (private, public, CHAG mission, quasi-government), region, district, town and the date its licence expires (between 2025-09-23 and 2028-11-30). The list covers private facilities and the public and mission facilities that have been licensed, not every health facility in Ghana, so a facility missing from it is not necessarily unlicensed; and a licence valid on the list date may since have expired. HeFRA's district wording is kept in source_district_name; 20 rows name an old or ambiguous district and have no district. Two facilities appear twice on HeFRA's list and are kept as published. Sourced from the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), published by HeFRA (no licence stated). 1778 records.
/api/data/licensed_pharmacies
Every pharmacy premises the Pharmacy Council of Ghana listed as in good standing in 2024 (list published 2025-02-10): 3622 pharmacies, one row each (the list's 3745 numbered rows less 123 repeats of the same licence and premises), with the licence number, business name, type (retail, wholesale, wholesale/retail, importing or manufacturing wholesale, hospital pharmacy), region and district; premises addresses are not included. The Council gives only the ten pre-2019 regions and often pre-2018 district names such as AMA and KMA, so the current region and district are filled only where they follow from the name; 1507 rows have no district and 18 no current region, with the Council's wording kept alongside. Over-the-counter medicine sellers are a separate register and are not included. Sourced from the Pharmacy Council, Ghana, published by the Pharmacy Council (no licence stated). 3622 records.
/api/data/mineral_production_monthly
Ghana's mineral output and exports as recorded by the Minerals Commission, from 1990 to 2024: one row per company (or sector total), mineral, period and measure. Production rows give the quantity mined; export rows give the quantity exported and its value in US dollars. Gold and silver are in troy ounces, bauxite and manganese in tonnes, diamonds in carats. Before 2013 there are only national annual totals; from 2013 each large-scale mine is given month by month, with small-scale gold (gold bought from small-scale miners), silver and diamonds as sector totals; exports are by company and month only from 2022, and annual sector totals before that. Rows with is_total true are the Commission's sector totals, so do not add them to company rows; a few months repeat one figure spread evenly by the source, flagged in notes. Sourced from the Minerals Commission of Ghana, published by the Minerals Commission. 4164 records.
/api/data/national_minimum_wage
Ghana's National Daily Minimum Wage, the least any worker may be paid for a day's work, in Ghana cedis (GHS) per day, as set by the National Tripartite Committee (Government, employers and organised labour) under the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651). One row per year from 2015 to 2026: the rate, the date it took effect and the day it was replaced, the rise over the previous year's rate (change_pct, worked out from the rates) and the rise the communiqué itself states (stated_increase_pct), each with the communiqué it comes from. Sourced from the National Tripartite Committee's communiqués, published by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (2025 as reported by the Ghana News Agency). 12 records.
/api/data/policy_rate_decisions
Every decision of the Bank of Ghana's Monetary Policy Committee, one row per meeting, from the 1st meeting (2002-11-20) to the 132nd (2026-09-24): the meeting dates, the effective date BoG gives, the policy rate in percent and the change from the previous decision in basis points. The rate was called the Prime Rate until about 2012 and the Monetary Policy Rate since; the emergency meeting of 17 August 2022 shares number 107 with the regular meeting before it. BoG's table gives no announcement date, so announcement_date is filled only where it was read from a press release; decisions after March 2026 come from the MPC press releases and have no effective date yet, and the March 2008 rate is 14.25 from its press release where BoG's table rounds it to 14.3. Sourced from the Bank of Ghana, published by the Bank of Ghana. 133 records.
/api/data/presidential_results_2024_by_constituency
One row per parliamentary constituency (276) with the result of Ghana's 7 December 2024 presidential election: votes for the NPP (Mahamudu Bawumia) and NDC (John Dramani Mahama) candidates, the other eleven candidates combined, rejected ballots, votes cast, registered voters and turnout (votes cast as a percentage of registered voters), with the region and district the constituency lies in. Figures are counts of votes as recorded on the Electoral Commission's Form Ten summary sheets; the other candidates are not itemised. Ablekuma North has no votes because the EC had not declared its result (its 10 January 2025 release covers 275 constituencies), and three constituencies lack the other-candidate or rejected-ballot figure; notes explains each gap. Sourced from the EC Form Ten sheets as transcribed in Iddrisu, Wahab Abdul, 2026, "Understanding Ghana's 2024 Presidential Election: A Three-Level Multilevel Modelling Approach", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/YMQLIQ, Harvard Dataverse, V1, CC0 1.0. 276 records.
/api/data/producer_price_index
Ghana's Producer Price Index from the Ghana Statistical Service, one row per month, industry and measure, from September 2006 to April 2026: the index (March 2020 to February 2021 = 100), and year-on-year and month-on-month change in percent, for all industries and ten industries. The PPI measures factory-gate prices received by domestic producers, excluding taxes and subsidies. It was rebased and widened in 2021: mining and quarrying including petroleum, water supply and sewerage, construction, transport and storage, accommodation and food service, and information and communication start in March 2020, and GSS shows them at exactly 100 through the base year, so their first real movement is in March 2021; the two industries with historical_scope true belong to the older 2006-2020 PPI and are still published for continuity. StatsBank is updated less often than GSS's monthly PPI release, so the latest months may be missing. Sourced from the Ghana Statistical Service (StatsBank table ppi.px), published by GSS. 4729 records.
/api/data/schools_by_district
How many pre-tertiary schools each district has, counted from the Ministry of Education's EMIS school list as served on 2026-09-26: 33488 schools in 261 districts, split by level (basic — kindergarten, primary and junior high together, as EMIS does not separate them — senior high and TVET) and by ownership (public, private registered, private not registered), with level-by-ownership counts. These are counts only; no individual school is published. A few schools with no level or sector are counted as not stated. Guan District (created 2023) has its own row with no district in the 260-district set. Sourced from the Ministry of Education, Ghana, Education Management Information System (EMIS); published by the Ministry, all rights reserved. 261 records.
/api/data/senior_high_school_vacancies
The public senior high schools and technical institutes that still had places in the CSSPS placement round when the vacancies page was read on 2026-09-26: 693 schools, one row each, with the region, whether the school is for boys, girls or both, whether it offers boarding, the programmes that still had places and how many, and the places left by residence (day, boarding for boys, boarding for girls). Schools that were full are not listed, and programmes that were full are not named, so this is not a complete register of schools or of the programmes they offer; CSSPS gives no school code, district or category. The numbers change during placement and hold for the snapshot date only. Sourced from the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) of the Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service, published on cssps.gov.gh. 693 records.
/api/data/telecom_statistics_quarterly
Ghana's quarterly telecom statistics from the National Communications Authority, Q1 2014 to Q2 2026: 60 indicators covering mobile voice and data subscriptions, voice and SMS traffic, data traffic, tariffs, devices, fixed voice and data, fibre broadband and broadband wireless access, one row per quarter, indicator and operator (operator is 'All operators' for industry totals and components such as prepaid or on-net). Values are in the unit column: counts, minutes, messages, TB, GB per subscription, cedis, and penetration rates as fractions of the population (0.8954 = 89.54%); mobile tariffs before 2017 are in pesewas, as the workbook recorded them. Fixed, fibre and BWA series start in Q4 2023 (fixed-line minutes of use are not included because the dashboard's chart for them actually holds total traffic), device types in Q1 2023, operators appear only while they reported (Airtel and Tigo merged as AirtelTigo in Q4 2018, renamed AT in Q1 2023), most of Q2 2018 is missing, and the machine-to-machine series, hidden on NCA's own dashboard, has gaps that leave its total short in some quarters. Sourced from the National Communications Authority's statistical dashboard, published by the NCA (all rights reserved). 2680 records.
/api/data/tertiary_institutions
Every tertiary institution the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission lists in its institutional categories, as retrieved on 2026-09-26: 318 institutions in 16 categories (traditional and technical universities, chartered and other private tertiary institutions, colleges of education, nursing and health training colleges, tutorial colleges and others), one row each, with the town GTEC gives, GTEC's status and the institution's accreditation start and end dates. Universities that accredit under their own charter usually have no dates, and those are empty. GTEC publishes no region, district or website for an institution, so none is given. gtec_institution_id links to tertiary_programmes. Sourced from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), published by GTEC (no licence stated). 318 records.
/api/data/tertiary_programmes
Every programme the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission lists for the institutions in tertiary_institutions, as retrieved on 2026-09-26: 3778 programmes, one row per programme and award (for example BSc, MPhil, HND, Diploma), with the duration in years, GTEC's status and the programme's accreditation start and end dates (starts from 2018-09-01 to 2030-09-01). A programme whose accreditation has lapsed keeps whatever status GTEC gives it. 78 institutions list no programmes. Durations GTEC writes as something other than a number are kept in duration_as_published. GTEC's own lists repeat a few programmes word for word (37 institution, award, programme and start-date combinations); those repeats are kept as published. Sourced from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), published by GTEC (no licence stated). 3778 records.
